Wabash
Refrigerated Van features include:
Two-Piece Top Rail
Separable top rail facilitates easy repair or replacement of upper
flange.
High Tech Foam Process
All components are foamed flat in a high-pressure press. The flat
foaming process results in high consistency and complete foam coverage.
High density foam eliminates firring strips at side posts. Result:
high insulating value even in thin-wall designs.
Segmented Design Isolates Leakage
Vinyl seals between roof and side prevent leakage from roof damage
from migrating into the trailer sides. Similar seals prevent water
transmission from sides to floor.
TempTech Modular Reefer Door
The Wabash reefer door offers optimum insulation with easy repairability.
The modular door design permits quick replacement of only the damaged
parts, without compromising the doors structural or thermal
capabilities.
Wabash Wiring Harness
Modular wiring harness offers easy, economical repair.
Patented Base Rail Outside Floor Seal
The base rail securely houses both wiring and air lines while completely
capturing the subpan edge.
SolarGuard® Roof
The unique SolarGuard roof absorbs
37% less of the suns rays at peak exposure when compared to
a traditional aluminum reefer roof. This reduces the reefer unit
reserve capacity required and can cut reefer unit operating hours
by 15% or more (depending on service).
Stainless Steel Bolted Crossmember Base Rail Connection
Bolts provide a much stronger connection than the aluminum rivets
used by competitors, furnishing an additional margin of safety during
forklift loading.
